So it's all back to normal now after Ramadan and Eid! Hope you all had a good two day holiday while we had to work! It was really quiet on the roads for a change but now working hours are back to normal the headaches continue!

I haven't updated the blog in a few days as there hasn't been much happening on the show. Just to let you know that I am on a well deserved break from next week. Yay!! I soooo can't wait, lol.

Says he wants a wife half his age -- that would be 52-- and that the woman better have a history of doctor practice or learning literature, since he needs assistance to write a medical book. Gong has two medical degrees - one from the American State University around 1940, the other from the West China University of Medical Sciences in 2000. We learnt today that Vicki hates jalepeno peppers! Get this, a 62-year-old retired accountant from Nevada has swallowed 247 jalapeno peppers in eight minutes to win the Jalapeٌo World Eating Championship at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas. Richard LeFevre won $2,000 in the contest. His winning strategy for the peppers was to mix three or four peppers in his mouth with a swig of milk before swallowing. (We tried to get this guy on the phone, but he's been on the toilet since yesterday...)

This is incredible!! You don't hear stories like this everyday. Read what happened to 27-year-old Natash Timarovic. She suffered severe burning to her anus after being struck by lightning which hit her in the mouth and passed right through her body. She was brushing her teeth at home when lightning struck the building. She said, "I had just put my mouth under the tap to rinse away the toothpaste when the lightning must have struck the building. It seems the lightening traveled down the water pipe, struck her in the mouth, and passed right on through and out her butt! Doctors treated her for burns to the mouth and rear and said, "The accident is bizarre but not impossible. They explained, she was wearing rubber bathroom slippers at the time and so instead of channeling through her feet it appears the electricity shot out of her backside." (What are the chances of THAT happening??!)

Brad Pitt for Mission Impossible 4??? A representative for Brad Pitt has ssquashed rumours that he'll be replacing Tom Cruise in the next Mission Impossible movie. A spokesperson has told the New York Daily News that the rumours were "totally made up". Another rumour going around was that Brad was offered a staggering $52 million for a one-movie deal. Paris' foray into the music business is being considered a bust. Her record company, Warner Bros., reportedly spent about a million dollars to promote it, not to mention the high production cost of the album itself. (Neal says : Remember how she said the album made her cry when she heard it? Guess what? It still does!!)

Cool! John Cleese is to be honored with a life-size statue of his character Basil Fawlty, which will be erected in Torquay in the UK soon. "Fawlty Towers" - was based in the Hotel Gleneagles and council members have decided to pay tribute to the show which put their town on the map. The statue of Fawlty will be joined by statues of the rest of the fictional hotel's staff - including chambermaid Polly and the waiter Manuel.

In case you didn't know, pogo sticks are the next big thing in exercise. A number of gyms around the world are now holding pogo stickclasses. But not just regular pogo sticks - one called the FlyBar (www.FlyBar.com) retails at $225; another, called the Vurtego (www.Vurtego.com), sells for $349. They can propel you up to five feet into the air. (Neal says : And, yes, from the videos on the websites, youlook like a real idiot).
